Our ambulatory caseload is varied and includes both English and Western Sport Horses, as well as much-loved pleasure horses. As official veterinarians at the Tryon International Equestrian Center, we cover a diverse number of disciplines. Ample mentorship is available from experienced ambulatory clinicians in a team approach to clients and horses. Our associates also benefit from a close relationship with our surgery and internal medicine hospital team, as well as advanced imaging. We understand the challenges of equine practice and are committed to creating a practice environment where everyone can thrive and succeed. On-call duties are shared between 4 doctors and interns.
The ideal Ambulatory Associate candidate will have experience in sport horse practice and have licensure and accreditation to practice in North Carolina and South Carolina. The position is open to foreign applicants who have completed the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) certification program.
